Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
Airport transfer, time to rest and a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Fly to Ölgii
Morning flight west to Ölgii, capital of Bayan-Ölgii province. Afternoon at the provincial museum and market.

Day 3: To the eagle hunters
Drive into the mountains to the home of a Kazakh eagle-hunting family.

Day 4: With the family
Learn how golden eagles are raised and trained, and join a hunting demonstration on horseback.
